‘Keiichi Tanaami: Hallucinating in print’ – featured photography for The Japan Times

OMallonDSC_1955

Last week, Mike Sunda, a journalist with The Japan Times took me along to photograph Keiichi Tanaami in his Tokyo studio. Tanaami-san is a psychadelic artist – unassuming – and has produced some incredible works across all sorts of formats. At the end of the interview he even handed Sunda and I copies of his old works.

Whilst Sunda’s interview and one of my photographs made The Japan Times on Sunday; a designer from the office, Andrew Lee, has put together this incredible looking feature version for online:

So cheers to Tanaami-san, Mike and Andrew.
